Sandman since childhood has been one of my favorite characters. For those who don't know him, he is one of the main characters in the 2012 animated film, The 5 Legends, but he is actually a much older character. Sandman is a legendary figure from northern European folklore. As the name may suggest, he has the power to bring beautiful dreams by putting sand on children's eyes while they sleep.
I chose to portray this version of Sandman because he has always fascinated me in a special way. Perhaps it is because, although he does not speak, he manages to communicate perfectly, or perhaps it is because, although he is not the main protagonist of the film, he is the fulcrum around which the whole story revolves.
I am happy that I was able to portray it in my own way, and I sincerely hope that you will enjoy this version of mine.
